Jeff and Marei Kubiak are two other victims. Their daughter wrote on GoFundMe that Jeff sustained a gunshot wound that shattered his ankle. He has had two surgeries since Sunday. Marei was injured by glass shards in her hands and feet. They are described as always having a home filled with love and first to lend a hand.
Greg Mikat’s sister wrote on GoFundMe that he was trying to stop the attack at his church when he was shot three times. He is in the hospital in the intensive care unit. Mikat’s sister added that he is fighting hard.
